Order Cancellations

Order cancellations refer to cancellations made on the day of purchase or before the product is received. If a cancellation needs to be made once the product is received, please refer to our Return Policy below.

If your order was paid for with a credit card and needs to be cancelled ON THE DAY of purchase before 5 pm EST, a 100% full credit will be given provided that the product has not shipped. All orders processed via PayPal that need to be cancelled the same day even though the product has not shipped are given a full credit less a 10% processing/cancellation fee. Credit card transactions do not settle until the evening, and thus we can void a sale and give a 100% refund the same day. However PayPal's charges/fees are immediate without an end of day settlement period. PayPal charges high processing fees to charge and credit the account which are non-refundable.

If a cancellation is made on the SAME DAY but AFTER the product has shipped, the credit card authorized will be issued a full credit minus any applicable processing/cancellation fee as stated in the previous paragraph along with shipping and handling charges. Shipping charges may include additional costs to stop the product in transit and returned to the appropriate warehouse.

If an order needs to be cancelled AFTER THE DAY of purchase but before the product is received, a full refund will be credited to the payment authorized minus the processing/cancellation fee along with applicable shipping and handling fees which may include additional costs to stop the product in transit and be redirected to the appropriate warehouse. If the order is cancelled after the 5pm EST cutoff, but has not shipped, than a 6% charge to cover credit card processing fees (10% for PayPal) will be applied.


Order Processing

Most orders received before 3pm EST, Monday - Friday are processed and shipped the same day. Please see the Shipping and Delivery Procedures below for more details. Orders received over the weekend are processed and shipped on the following business day. Please be aware that orders requesting expedited shipping after 3pm EST or during the weekends will be processed as such on the following business day.

Orders received for parts and supplies for cash registers that have been discontinued may not be in stock, and may need to be special ordered. If expedited shipping is requested on an out of stock or special request item, you will be contacted with alternate options.

Receipt of Goods

Upon receipt of your cash register, please IMMEDIATELY examine the contents and condition of the machine. Any damages due to shipping must be reported within 1 day of receipt by calling 239-693-3800. Please open your package upon receipt to examine if all peripherals are included (keys, manual, etc). If anything is missing or damaged, call 239-693-3800 within 1 day of receipt to report any missing or damaged items. Day of receipt is determined by when the shipping carrier delivered the package.

Failure to report any missing or damaged items within the stated 1 day will result in charges for delivery and cost of the requested items.


Tech Support Policy

CashRegisterStore.com provides free lifetime tech support on all cash register systems purchased through this website. With consumer electronics the usable lifespan is generally considered to be around 5 years. For our customers we generously consider the usable lifespan of a cash register to be seven (7) years from the date of purchase (lifespan does not relate to warranty period). However the cash register will likely still function for many years after such time. After seven years from the date of purchase, tech support can be purchased from our sales department as specified below. Free tech support is only for the original owner. Should the cash register be sold, given away, the business takes on new ownership, etc, the new owner is not entitled to free tech support.

CashRegisterStore.com only supports the cash registers and perhiperals sold via this website. Anything acquired elsewhere is not entitled to free tech support. Even if the cash register was purchased via this website, we do not support installation or use of perhiperals such as scanners or scales purchased elsewhere. There is no support for the installation of replacement parts or consumables sold on this website nor support provided for tangible and electronic documents such as manuals and keyboard templates.

Tech support for any touch screen system sold via this website is entitled to 90 days free tech support. 

Once beyond the free support period, Tech support can be purchased on a per call basis at $160 per hour billed in 15 minute increments. Any unused time in a 15 minute increment is not pro-rated for a future call nor refunded. Please consult with our sales department for any related questions.

How to get unlimited ongoing free tech support...

Customers who have purchased a touch screen system or cash register and are using our credit card processing will receive ongoing free tech support albeit they continue processing with CashRegisterStore.com. The same support policy applies to cash registers that are beyond the seven year lifespan. CashRegisterStore.com will continue to offer ongoing free tech support on all cash registers and touchscreens purchased via this website after seven years if our credit card processing is being used. In the case that the customer discontinues credit card processing by account closure or in the even the account is kept open but processing volume has ceased, or is greatly reduced from what was traditionally processed, then the free tech support ends. 

CashRegisterStore.com does not support either standalone or integrated credit card terminals provided by third party credit card processors.


Procedure for Returns

If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of receiving your order to CashRegisterStore.com Inc. and obtain a refund of the original purchase price of the product less a 15% (20% for PayPal) restocking fee. This excludes shipping and handling charges.

There is a NO RETURN / NO CREDIT policy on the following:

  • Programming manuals
  • Electronic files including keyboard templates, manuals, etc
  • Programming costs / fees
  • All software packages
  • Wetcovers for discontinued cash registers or credit card terminals
  • Special request orders not featured on this website
  • Cash register internal mechanical/electrical parts
  • Parts and or accessories for discontinued cash registers
  • Shipping and handling fees

 
All returns must be accompanied with a Return Merchandise Authorization number.
To obtain your Return Merchandise Authorization number, please contact our direct sales department at 239-693-3800. CashRegisterStore.com Inc. will assist you in either a merchandise exchange (for defective merchandise) or return of the product for a credit of the purchase price, less a 15% restocking fee (excluding shipping and handling charges). If the original payment was made by credit card, your credit card account will be credited. 

You MUST return the product at your expense in undamaged condition in the original box with ALL materials and package inserts. You should INSURE the return for SHIPPING DAMAGE and/or LOSS. Upon receipt of the returned product, CashRegisterStore.com Inc. will refund you for the original purchase price, less a 15% restocking fee, less the shipping and handling charges. Any product returned in packaging other than the original factory packing will incur additional restock fees.

Factory defective merchandise will be exchanged for the same item once the defective merchandise is returned within the first 30 days of purchase. Failure to report any factory defects upon arrival within the 30 days of receipt will result in forfeit of credit or exchange. For damages due to shipping, please see our Shipping and Delivery Procedures. After 30 days the factory warranty will cover any repairs that need to be made. An explanation of the nature of the defect must be included with the returned merchandise. A copy of the invoice must accompany the returned merchandise.

Warranty Work / Repairs

Equipment under warranty will be fixed without charge to the customer. The customer will pay freight on equipment sent in for repair. When repaired CashRegisterStore.com Inc. will pay the cost to return the package to the customer. CashRegisterStore.com Inc. will return merchandise via UPS ground. Requests for expedited shipping will be paid by the customer.

All expenses for repair work on out of warranty products will be paid by the customer. This includes all shipping costs, parts and labor expenses.

All the cash registers that CashRegisterStore.com sells are new. Therefore, all Cash Registers come with a NEW FACTORY WARRANTY.

Casio warranty = 1 year parts and 90 days labor from receipt of cash register.

Quorion warranty = 1 year parts and labor from receipt of terminal.

Sam4s warranty = 6 months parts and labor from receipt of cash register and 1 year for SAP-6600II touch screen terminal.

Sharp warranty = 1 year parts and 90 days labor from receipt of cash register.

CashRegisterStore.com makes no warranty statement on any products. Most cash registers are taken out of the box before shipping out. The cash registers are inspected to ensure that there are no defects, and that each cash register functions correctly. This almost completely eliminates the chances of getting a cash register dead out of the box.

If a cash register arrives inoperable or dead out of the box, CashRegisterStore.com will promptly do a pick-up and replace the defective cash register.

If the cash register arrives damaged due to mishandling during shipping, we will file a claim with the shipper and ship you a replacement unit.

If your cash register fails WITHIN the warranty period and repairs must be made in our service center, you will need to ship the cash register at your expense to our service center for repair. You must contact us BEFORE shipment to inform us of the repair needs and to arrange for the repair. We will make the repair at no charge to the customer, and we will pay to ship it back to you via ground shipping. If faster shipping methods are desired, you must pay for the expedited shipping.

If your cash register fails AFTER the expiration of the warranty, you will need to pay for all parts, labor and shipping costs associated with the repair.
